We are looking for a Writer to join our team! As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible to produce high-quality and understandable documentation with the goal to improve the success of our products.

It will also provide you with the opportunity to establish effective communication program that promote and protect Devoint’s vision, strategy, values, and purpose. You'll focus on designing communication strategies that aid in implementing new policies and programs that will enhance the organization’s relations with the community, public and associates.

You will join our team as Technical content writer who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, project manager, and usability experts to make our products easier to use. It combines expertise including corporate, internal communications, change management, digital and social communications, and analytics

Desired Candidate Profile

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent command of the English language, good vocabulary, and impeccable spelling and grammar. Proven experience in writing.

The candidate must be well-read and should be well versed with the taxonomy and web terminologies. The candidate must be able to articulate his/ her thoughts on a variety of subjects.

The candidate must be good at researching and presenting information in well-formatted and well-planned documents.

The candidate should be flexible and adaptable.

The candidate should have an eye for detail and a high level of commitment to accuracy.

The candidate should have prior experience in writing website content.

Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively

Key Responsibilities

Follows the guidelines for each product.

Reflects the best practices for writing effective websites.

Write search-engine-friendly content.

Follow the site architecture.

Responsible to prepare promotional content for different social media like LinkedIn. Instagram, etc.

Adhere to the style guides of the organization and its policies for publication

Creating content for email marketing campaigns, writing articles, contents, case studies, and blogs.

Help to develop & document procedures to manage Web content.

Work with developers/IT staff to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content.

Qualifications

Graduation/ Master with IT background.

Excellent Content Writing Skills.

Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.

Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git.

Good communication skills who can handle projects individually.

Core php, WordPress

Expertise in working with MVC (Yii2/ CI/ Laravel) atleast one, CMS (WordPress)

Knowledge of Core PHP and object oriented PHP programming

Sound knowledge MySQL, AJAX, Jquery and Java script

Knowledge of front end technologies like HTML, CSS and Bootstrap

Knowledge of REST Api development will be an advantage.

Good to have knowledge of Angular/Vue Js/React Js

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Demonstrated experience with an automated testing framework to generate test scripts

Understanding of SOAP/REST Web services to support data exchanges with other enterprise systems

Must have working experience creating or modifying Cucumber frameworks

Must have a working knowledge of Java and/or C#

Strong ‘hands on’ experience developing software tests for functional, performance, and regression testing that include automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements

Strong ‘hands on’ experience with building reusable, quality test data sets leverage by automated tests

Knowledge of the latest quality assurance techniques, and knowledge in creating test coverage

Experience with leading user acceptance testing (UAT)

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process

Experience working with ASP.net Core 2.0, .Net 4.5 and above

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL data stores

Experience with Web UI technologies (e.g. CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax)

Experience in design and develop secure, fast and scalable web applications

Experience in developing software as service applications

Working knowledge of TFS, Azure DevOps, VSTS with Git repository

Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2015 or 2017 (or higher)

Key skills we are looking for:- C#, ASP.Net 4.5 or above, .Net Core 2.0 or above, MVC, WebAPI, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, CSS, Ajax, AWS/Azure knowledge

Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights

Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor those

Analyzing data and present data through reports that aid decision-making

Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish

Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models

Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics

Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI

Create customize charts and custom calculations as per requirements

Design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions as per needs

SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data
